Our instructors need to be in good health, mentally and physically, due to the demands of the job. Familiarity with common computer programs and technology is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one direct services to clients including: setting goals,  planning,  data collection, and teaching skills necessary for independent living

  • Assist in: securing housing, medical appointments, record keeping, medication log, and help clients with emergencies 

  • Carry out instructions of any Behavioral Management Plan that may be in place

  • Document hours of direct service and file a daily Progress Report 

  • Interact with private and government agencies 

  • Maintain current credentials and training as required by the State of California and/or other Professional licensing
  • Use adaptive skills for clients who may be deaf, blind, or physically disabled 

  • Help arrange transportation and schedules for client’s: programs, medical appointments, recreational activities, field trips, and vacation plans

  • Other duties as required to secure a quality life for the client
